Day 2: In which I hate my tights and my pretty hair falls to teaching

My hair was sooo cute this morning.  I mean super cute.  Then I taught all day and it was less so.

I was dying to wear these tights and end up hating this outfit with these tights but loving my new tights from we love colors. I’m to tired to write much so with out further ado:

totally the wrong green for this outfit. :P

Day 1: i am indecisive.

I cheated a bit.  I started a day early.  I was just super excited to start so, well, I did.

I do as I please as my brother would say.

It took me forever to decide on this outfit because I tried on like four outfits first and liked them all but decided they were teaching outfits not dinner with the best friend outfits.  So here I suppose is a dinner with the best friend outfit.

(Also, I just read something that said don’t post pics with your cellphone.  except opps i dropped my camera while setting these up so you will just have to accept these)

opps I have no head!

ahhhhh much better.

I wore this belt a lot lower when I saw these picks.

I love love these shoes.  I almost didn’t include them but then I was like “i must! it will make me wear them.”  So here you go. I am wearing them.

day 1 check

night all,

Dear God Anne, another one?

Okay so, I’m probably going to stop linking the other blog to my facebook as it’s main purpose has become school and math and with my lack of regular social life up here I’d like to instead update my friends on my life through this.  I also have found that I really like writing.  So as always, read if you want, don’t if you don’t and have a good life.

Title of this blog: Which way is west?

How many of you have left encinitas for any significant amount of time?  Have you ever gone to a place without the pacific?  It’s super duper weird.  I miss my family and my friends and my regular social life but you know what i feel the most? The lack of ocean.  It’s this super weird craving.   When we were kids my mom used to say we were just going to make sure the ocean was “still there.” For the last year I could see it from my bed.  Now I have NO IDEA. Is it still there?  I mean please will someone jar some up and send it my way.  I just miss it.  Sarah said it was like being land-locked and I had never thought about it that way but it is exactly that.  There is sooooo much land on either side of me.  I really think people are meant to be near the ocean.  I mean think about coastal America v. middle American where are all the people? on the coast.

Now, don’t get all pissy and be like, “Anne you only live in Santa Clara. Man up!” Well yea, I know but I still miss it out my window and this just doesn’t do it justice….

I miss my window.  You better be living that up Evan.

Santa Clara is pretty amazing though.  I have taken the train twice up to San Francisco.  Everyone here calls it “the city.”  I laughed because the first time someone said that I was sure they meant New York.  I mean really isn’t that “the city”?    So anyway Santa Clara allows the opportunity for to travel to “the city” on the train which I love.  Talking to cool strangers which I love and an awesome sense of freedom.
